Nietzsche condemned Christianity as a religion consisting of nothing more than resentment for life and those who enjoy it. The constant victim mentality of late also seems to prove him right.
Fortunately, nothing lasts forever, including a nation founded in violence and maintained with hubris.

I am not religious. However, I believe everyone’s belief system deserves respect, as long as it is humane and respectful to individuals.
That being said, I was raised a Christian. And it appears to me, the major problem with christianity is many Christians don’t follow the teachings of Christ. They are unkind, uncharitable, bigoted and selfish. And it seems to me a religion that would tolerate such behavior from its followers doesn’t stand for much.
Some of the Eastern religions appear to be more tolerant and humanitarian.
